Committed, pending and actual spend
Spend held for requests still in progress, compared with spend that has happened.
Budget control tracks money at different stages. Committed or pending spend is held against a budget for requests that are submitted or approved but not yet final. Actual spend is money approved or paid out, depending on your policy. Available is what is left once both are taken off the budget. In Vintage People a spending request is pending from submission and released if it is rejected or cancelled.
