Questions, answered

Can employees update their own details?

Yes — via ESS, routed through approval before the master record changes.

How does leave reach payroll?

Approved payable leave becomes an earnings line on the payslip, and unused days become leave encashment in final pay at exit — no re-keying.

How does an employee exit work?

Start an exit and the system computes final pay for you — prorated salary, leave encashment, gratuity if your policy enables it, less any outstanding loan. Finalising removes them from future runs and locks the record.

Can I see what a record looked like in the past?

Yes — salary, group and role are effective-dated, so you can always answer “what did this look like in March?”

Does it support multi-level approvals?

Yes — approval chains can route by amount, category, role or manager, across one or more steps, with a full audit trail.

Does it track assets for offboarding?

Yes — issued assets appear on the exit clearance checklist so nothing walks out the door.

Are custom fields supported?
