Cash advance
Money given to staff up front for work spending, cleared later against expense claims.
A cash advance, or float, is money paid to an employee before they spend it on work, for example on a trip or a purchase. It is not a salary advance. In Vintage People a cash advance is approved, paid out against a budget, then retired: applied to an approved expense claim, refunded, carried forward or recovered through payroll. The part applied to a claim is not paid twice.
