Policy acknowledgement

An employee's recorded confirmation that they have read a policy.

A policy acknowledgement is evidence that an employee has read a company policy. In Vintage People HR publishes a policy, with an optional acknowledge-by date, and each acknowledgement stores a fingerprint of the exact text the person saw. A published policy is never edited in place: changes become a new version that everyone acknowledges again.
