Data subject request

A request from a person to see, correct or erase their personal data.

A data subject request is a person exercising their rights over their personal data, for example asking for a copy, a correction or erasure. Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 the organisation must respond within set timeframes. In Vintage People each request is logged with a due date, an access request produces the full record, and erasure needs one person to approve and another to carry it out.
