Time and attendance in one hub
Clock-in, geofence, roster, exceptions, overtime and timesheets.
Time and attendance is a module. Once it is in your plan, open Time & leave, Time & attendance. One page holds the day-to-day work on seven tabs: Today, Log, Exceptions, Roster, Overtime, Shift swaps and Timesheets. You only see the people your role covers.
Clocking in. Staff clock in and out from the staff app under Time, Attendance, or on a biometric device. To tie clock-ins to a place, add your work sites with their location and radius under Settings, Shifts & work sites and choose a geofence mode: warn records whether the person was on site, and enforce refuses a clock-in from outside every site. Geofencing is off until you switch it on.
Each morning. Every night the system records yesterday's absent, late and on-leave days from the roster and approved leave, worked out in your organisation's time zone. A status set by hand is never overwritten. Review and correct them on Exceptions; unpaid absence feeds payroll.
Roster and swaps. Define shift templates, each with its overtime multiplier, under Settings, Shifts & work sites, then build the roster. Staff can offer a shift to a colleague; once the colleague accepts and a manager approves, both rosters update.
Overtime and timesheets. Overtime is requested, authorised, approved and then posted to an open pay period, and the payroll Period inputs grid can bring in the period's approved overtime already priced. Nobody authorises or approves their own overtime. Timesheets collect hours by project, with approvals, utilisation and reminders.
